Access to change of the information on the registered Resource is made only on the basis of a login of the User under which it is registered in system IntwayPassport, and the password from IntwayPassport.
The User bears responsibility for keeping the password secure.
Any actions performed using the login name and password referred to herein are deemed by the Service Owner to have been performed by the User.
VII. Using the IntwayTop counter
- After registration with IntwayTop, the Service User receives the code of the registered Resource counter (in case the User chooses that the visiting statistics be gathered for his Resource).
- The User can place the counter code with an 88 x 31 pixel image on the pages of its Resource. The types of counters are determined by the Service Owner.
- The Service counter should be visible to users browsing the Resource on the Internet both on the main page and on all other pages of the Resource on which the counter is installed. The Service counter should have the standard format without any programming, visual or other alterations.
- The User places the obtained counter code independently on the pages of the registered Resource.
- The pages of the registered Resource on which the User places the counter code should correspond in structure and content to the information contained on the main page of the Resource and the information provided by the User at registration.
- If the main page of the Resource has no counter code, or if the counter does not comply with the standard format, the services related to the gathering of statistical information are not provided to the User by the Service.
- The User cannot place several copies of the obtained code or the codes of different counters of the Service on the same page.
- A counter cannot be placed on a page of the Resource with an automatic refresh function.
- A counter cannot be placed on a page that is refreshed periodically by the server.
- A counter cannot be placed on pages that open without any active actions of the User (popup windows, exit-traffic, etc.).
- Several counters cannot be loaded in response to the single action of a visitor.
- Any other improper conduct related to the use of the counter code of the Service in a form not provided for by the present Rules, aimed at an intentional increase of statistical data of the Resource in the Service, is prohibited. The propriety of such User conduct is assessed independently by the Service Owner.
VIII. Refusal to provide Service
The Service Owner is authorized to unilaterally terminate the provision of the Service to the User at any time for one of the following reasons:
- if the content of the User's Resource is of a pornographic nature or contains information and advertisements on services of a sexual nature, promotes sexual perversions;
- if the content of the User's Resource promotes violence or antisocial behavior;
- if the content of the User's Resource violates the conventional moral code;
- if the content of the User's Resource violates international legislation;
- if any key sections of the User's Resource are under development (not accessible);

- if the User's Resource offers autosurfing services or other manipulations with the pages of the participants of the rating in violation of IntwayTop Rules, or if the User's Resource is designed for advertising such systems;
- if the content of the User's Resource does not comply with network hardware and software standards and protocols resulting in software failures when browsing the Resource;
- if the User violates the provisions of the present Rules.
The provision of services to the User is terminated for the above reasons only in respect of Resources not complying with the requirements of the present Rules. The User is notified on the termination or refusal of service provision to the User by email.
In cases when a prompt, thorough and reliable assessment of the compliance of a Resource's content with the conditions for the refusal of service provision, stipulated above in this clause, is impossible, the Service Owner is entitled to suspend temporarily, for a duration of up to three months, the provision of all services or of any part thereof in order to make an assessment of the Resource's content. The User is notified on the suspension of service provision to the User by email.
Repeated or serious misconduct may lead to the removal of all resources of a User from IntwayTop and the entry of the User's login name in the stop list to prevent the re-registration of such resources.
IX. Changes to Resource data
The Service Owner is entitled to make changes to the structure and style of the information on a Resource provided by the User in order to bring them into compliance with the Service standards, without prior notice to the User.
If the content of a Resource does not correspond to the category in which the User wants to register it, the Service Owner may transfer the Resource to another category.
In case of any changes to the structure of Service categories, the Service Owner notifies by email the Users whose resources are affected by such changes. The User should determine the place of the Resource in the new category structure within 14 days of receipt of this notice. In the User fails to respond, the Service Owner may choose the new category for the User's Resource independently.
X. Methods of gathering statistics and forming ratings used by IntwayTop
-
Data on Resource visitors registered by the Service statistics system
The statistics system registers the following data on resource visitors:
- Visitor's IP address;
- time of visit;
- Software (browser) used by the visitor.
The statistics gathering system calculates the visiting statistics of all Resource pages on which the counter code is installed on the basis of the registered data using a special algorithm, the content of which is commercially confidential.
-
Calculation of Resource statistics
The number of resource visitors (hosts) means the number of visits registered from different IP addresses. All visits from one IP address in a day are deemed to be the visits of a single visitor (one visit).
The number of resource views (hits) means the number of page views registered by the system as one load of a Resource page.
The total number of visits (views) means the number of visits (views) since the registration of the Resource in the IntwayTop system.
The Statistics calculation option for a Resource is activated at the moment of receipt by the Resource Owner of the HTML code of the counter . The calculation of the statistics starts when the code is placed on a Resource page.
-
Ratings
The IntwayTop system forms ratings basing on the following criteria:
- number of visits to resources for 1 day, 7 days, 30 days, and for the total period since registration with IntwayTop (weighted average);
- ratings by resource types (categories) for resources registered in respective categories;
Only the resources for which users choose the option of rating participation take part in the ratings.
Prior to being submitted to the rating system of the Service, every Resource is assessed by the Service Owner for the compliance of its content and of the User's conduct with the Service Rules.
Internet addresses of the Resource pages provided by the User are assessed for the conformity of their content with the content of the Resource's main page.
Such assessment is performed within a reasonable time but not longer than within 10 working days.
If the Resource is not included by the Service Owner to the ratings within the time period stipulated herein, the provision of services to such Resource related to ratings is considered temporarily suspended.
